Tổng Công ty Thiết bị Điện Đông Anh (EEMC, ticker TBD) said its board will propose that shareholders dismiss board member Đặng Phan Tường at an extraordinary general meeting on 7 November, after the Investigation Police Agency under the Ministry of Public Security charged him. Under the Law on Enterprises, a person facing criminal prosecution is not eligible to sit on the board, so shareholders will also elect replacement directors for the 2026-2031 term. In the first half of 2026, EEMC posted net revenue of VND 1,111 billion, slightly higher year on year, but gross profit fell 15 billion to nearly VND 171 billion, and after-tax profit of over VND 66 billion was down 25%. Tường previously chaired the members' council of EVNNPT for 9 years, and the investigation into EVNNPT, PC1 and related units has so far led to 48 suspects being charged on 5 groups of offences, with the probe still widening.
