Lode Gold Resources has completed the first six drill holes of its expanded 20-hole campaign at the Fremont Gold Mine in Mariposa County, California, and added ten holes, bringing the program to 4,200 meters (13,780 feet). The six holes represent half of the planned 12-hole metallurgical drilling program, and samples from the first two holes have been sent to the lab, with assay results pending. The holes use PQ-diameter core to supply material for both gold assays and metallurgical testing, with planned target depths of about 105 to 171 meters. CEO Wendy T. Chan said the company expects news flow and drilling from Q4 2026 through Q1 2027, including in-situ hydrogeological holes followed by step-out exploration.
