CME Group reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.7 billion, up 13% year over year, on its October 21, 2026 earnings call. Management said collateral margin offsets across fixed income, equity indexes and interest rate swaps saved customers an average of over $100 billion a day, and market data revenue hit a record $243 million, extending growth to 34 consecutive quarters. Management said it will not compromise exchange safety or leverage constraints to bring new products to market faster. Entering the fourth quarter, volume is surpassing last year's record fourth quarter by 17%, and year-to-date volume is 12% ahead of last year's record.
