Apple has confirmed an Oct. 28 product event in Los Angeles, where it is expected to unveil its first touchscreen MacBook Pro, a major break from its longstanding approach of keeping touch mainly on the iPad. Bloomberg reports the event will also feature a low-end MacBook Pro with an M6 chip, a refreshed iMac and an upgraded iPad mini, with retail sales starting November 6. The launch follows the HomeView smart-home device, an updated Apple TV and the second-generation HomePod mini, while the $1,999 foldable iPhone Duo goes on sale October 23, with shipping estimates pushed into January 2027 after preorders opened. Analysts remain divided: KeyBanc's Brandon Nispel kept an 'Underweight' rating with a $250 target, while Melius's Ben Reitzes kept a 'Buy' rating with a $370 target. AAPL shares are up about 26% so far this year, versus about 17% for the QQQ ETF.
