Rain MENA FZE, the Dubai entity of crypto platform Rain, has received a full licence from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). The licence covers exchange, broker-dealer and margin trading services for retail, qualified and institutional investors in Dubai. It follows an in-principle approval granted earlier this year under a two-stage licensing process. Director Laurent Girouille said Dubai makes the company's regional-with-global-intent ambition practical. Rain now holds licences from three Gulf Cooperation Council regulators, including the Central Bank of Bahrain and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market.
