CoreWeave targets agentic AI risks with zero-trust framework

CoreWeave launched its Zero Trust AI Framework, a set of security controls that let customers oversee access to their own AI models, data and runtime environments, revealed at Nvidia GTC Berlin. The company says the customer-controlled model lets organisations use their own security systems on CoreWeave Cloud instead of adapting to a provider's mandated methods, as cloud security needs shift with the rise of agentic AI. The framework has six layers of protection, including Remote Key Encryption so customers manage their own encryption keys, Support Access Management limiting provider access to explicit authorisation, infrastructure attestation, and support for Nvidia Confidential Computing. CoreWeave states it does not use customer data to train its own models, and expects specific Nvidia hardware to become available on CoreWeave Cloud from the fourth quarter of 2026. In July 2026, Flow Traders selected CoreWeave as its main cloud platform provider for AI model training for quantitative trading.

  • Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA Accelerates Agentic AI Security Capabilities Across the Open Hybrid Cloud

Red Hat announced expanded updates to its collaboration with NVIDIA to strengthen security and safety for agentic AI on Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA. Key additions include the OpenShell Reference Architecture, built on an open source agent sandbox runtime that provides standardized guardrails, operational visibility and runtime safety. For model inference, the companies developed a reference design with Model-as-a-Service access control, AI Gateway, vLLM and llm-d that separates access governance from execution, and the stack fully supports NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Super VL. Red Hat is also providing Day 0 enablement for NVIDIA Vera Rubin and added support for Vera CPUs in Red Hat Enterprise Linux for NVIDIA, with the solutions available through partners including Cisco, Dell Technologies and Lenovo.

  • Uniti Solutions Launches Managed AI Security to Help Businesses Combat AI Cyber Risks

Uniti Solutions has launched AI Security, a managed offering powered by Cato Networks, to help business customers address 'Shadow AI', meaning unapproved AI tools used by employees that can leak company data, intellectual property, and customer information. The article cites Microsoft and LinkedIn findings that 78% of AI users bring their own AI tools to work. Unlike traditional firewalls, the cloud-native service gives visibility into employee AI use across hundreds of tools, inspects prompts and responses, enforces real-time guardrails, and isolates data leaks. Uniti president Mike Flannery said traditional cybersecurity solutions cannot cover these blind spots.

  • CoreWeave debt tumbles anew as Korean neocloud IPO tanks

CoreWeave's debt fell again on October 20 as investors reacted poorly to the public-market debut of Elice Group, a South Korean cloud company often called the South Korean equivalent of CoreWeave. Despite being almost 400 times oversubscribed and pricing at the top of its range, Elice's shares plunged over 32% in their KOSDAQ debut. The article says this is another sign that the neocloud business model might be broken. Elice locked in its IPO pricing on October 6, a day before macro anxiety and capex concerns.

  • CoreWeave Stock Is Getting Crushed. Here's What Investors Should Watch.

CoreWeave (CRWV) shares had fallen nearly 25% for the week as of Oct. 16, and the article points to the bond market as the more worrying signal, with yields on some of its bonds climbing to roughly 15%–16%. According to Reuters, CoreWeave carries about $50 billion in debt, and its business requires heavy upfront spending on GPUs and data centers before it generates revenue. Operations are still growing: second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 112% year over year to $2.6 billion, and backlog reached about $104 billion. However, the company posted a $626 million net loss in the quarter and $640 million in net interest expense. The article suggests investors watch financing costs, cash generation and debt, and returns on infrastructure investment.

  • Irish central bank fines Coinbase Ireland $3.6 million over fund safeguarding failures

Ireland's central bank fined Coinbase Ireland 3.25 million euros ($3.6 million) for alleged failures to safeguard customer funds and oversee outsourced services, saying the unit relied excessively on its U.S. parent and lacked adequate systems and controls. The regulator cited a 2023 episode in which Coinbase directed 30 customers to deposit funds into an alternate account at another U.S. bank when Silvergate neared collapse, holding them alongside funds of another Coinbase entity's customers, and coding errors left a safeguarding account underfunded by an average of 0.54% in 2023 and the first half of 2024. Coinbase said no customer lost money or was unable to access funds. The penalty follows a 21.4 million-euro fine on Coinbase Europe in 2025 for anti-money laundering failures.

  • XRP Is 63% Below Its All-Time High and Ethereum 51%. Which Reclaims their ATH First?

XRP trades at $1.33, 63.5% below its all-time high of $3.65 set in July 2025, while Ethereum is at $2,403, 51.4% below its August 2025 peak of $4,946, and both fell over the past month. Reclaiming those highs would require gains of 174.4% for XRP and 105.9% for Ethereum, and the article concludes Ethereum has the edge, citing JPM Coin's integration onto its network on October 19 and a sizeable ETF asset base. XRP ETFs held $1.57 billion in net assets, but inflows slowed to $708,500 on October 21, while Ethereum's cumulative ETF net inflows fell to $12.83 billion amid outflows. • Tech stocks fall as Nvidia boss warns of AI funding slowdown

US stocks fell sharply on Thursday after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang warned that a “scarcity of capital” was holding back AI rollout, fuelling worries about the cost of sustaining the AI boom. The Nasdaq 100 dropped 1.5% and the S&P fell nearly 1%. Meta shares slid 5% after it raised the lower bound of its capex guidance from $130 billion to $135 billion and issued new non-voting stock, while Tesla fell 2% after cutting its proposed AI spending from $25 billion to $20 billion. Oil added to the sell-off, with Brent rising 2.5% to $111.60 per barrel, its first move above $110 since May, after Aramco evacuated staff from its Dhahran headquarters over a warning of Houthi attacks.

  • Musk: People Are "Buying FSD With a Car Attached." There's Only One Problem.

Tesla said 75% of its new North American deliveries in the third quarter came with an FSD subscription, up from 55% in the second quarter, and active FSD subscriptions rose 67% to 1.74 million. Tesla has not disclosed how many subscribers pay, since the first month is free. When an RBC analyst asked whether the paid rate was closer to 30% to 40%, CFO Vaibhav Taneja did not give a clear answer. The article also notes that Tesla's overall gross margin fell from 25.6% in fiscal 2022 to 18% in fiscal 2025, while the stock trades at 185x forward earnings. It argues the paid attach rate is the key figure to watch, as paid FSD revenue remains small relative to Tesla's total sales.
