On October 22, HAGL's Board of Directors set up an ESG Sustainable Development Committee of six members, led by General Director Nguyen Xuan Thang as Head, including 2 PhDs and 3 master's holders in agriculture and finance. The committee will steer, coordinate and oversee the group's environmental, social and governance commitments. Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc said large-scale agricultural companies cannot stay outside ESG, as foreign investors, domestic banks and funds increasingly focus on environmental issues. In the first half of 2026, HAGL recorded revenue of VND 3,039 billion, down 18%, while profit after tax reached VND 2,204 billion, up 150.5%. The company holds about 30,000 ha of agricultural land and plans to plant 7,000 ha of coffee in 2026.

BIDV was named among the Top 50 Leading ESG Enterprises in Vietnam for 2026, an award organized by Forbes Vietnam that assesses companies on 66 indicators across Environment, Social, Governance, and Finance & Compliance. The bank has set a 2026-2030 sustainability and ESG strategy built on these three pillars. BIDV reports green credit outstanding of nearly 87,600 billion VND, cumulative ESG bond issuance of 10,250 billion VND, and green deposits of 20,300 billion VND. The bank says the recognition reflects its efforts to integrate ESG into its banking operations.

Vietjet has been recognized by Forbes Vietnam in its '50 ESG Leaders 2026' list, announced at the Sustainable Development Conference 2026 on 15/10. The ranking assessed companies on 66 indicators grouped into environment (35%), social (25%), governance (25%) and finance and compliance (15%), with independent technical review by SGS Vietnam. On environmental matters, Vietjet is modernizing its fleet, improving fuel efficiency and operating flights using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) refueled in Vietnam since 2024, and is working with Oxford University on pathways to Net Zero. The airline also highlights staff training through the Vietjet Aviation Academy, information transparency and risk management. Vice Chairwoman of the Board and Deputy General Director for Finance Hồ Ngọc Yến Phương said ESG is the foundation for long-term growth, with the goal of Net Zero by 2050.
