- Axo Metals Drilling Intercepts 48.0 Metres of 1.18 g/t Au From Surface at Recently Discovered Luz del Cobre Target; Additional Results Include 3.94 g/t Au Over 15.0 Metres
Axo Metals (TSXV: AXO) reported results from 33 drillholes, about 3,700 metres, at its San Antonio project in Sonora, Mexico, focused on the newly discovered Luz del Cobre target about 750 metres east of the Sapuchi resource pit. Hole SOSAP-26-069 returned 48.0 metres of 1.18 g/t Au of oxide material from surface, while hole SOSAP-26-083 assayed 3.94 g/t Au over 15.0 metres from 12 metres down the hole. Initial drilling in the gap between Luz del Cobre and Sapuchi has confirmed at least 450 metres of mineralized strike length, and Luz del Cobre sits about 1.8 km from existing plant infrastructure, so the company is evaluating it as an early mining option. Three diamond rigs are operating, with two focused on resource expansion drilling.
- K2 Drills 83.82m of 3.40 g/t Au including 19.81m of 7.51 g/t Au at Dragonfly
K2 Gold (TSX-V: KTO) reported results from the final four holes of the first phase of drilling at the Dragonfly Zone on its 100% owned Mojave Project. Hole DF26-031, drilled from pad DF-M about 94m north of K2's 2020 high-grade intercept, cut 83.82m of 3.40 g/t Au from surface, including 48.77m of 4.98 g/t Au; the hole was abandoned due to difficult drilling conditions. Holes DF26-029 and DF26-030 validated BHP's 1997 results, returning 38.10m of 1.38 g/t Au and 100.58m of 1.01 g/t Au from surface. K2 has completed 42 holes totalling 8,013m in its fully permitted and funded 14,000m program, with 27 holes at Newmont awaiting assays, and all 15 holes reported at Dragonfly have intersected high-grade oxide gold mineralization.
- Kirkland Lake Discoveries Reports High-Grade Gold at Mirado and Commences Additional 25,000 m Drill Program
Kirkland Lake Discoveries (TSXV: KLDC) reported new gold assays from its KL South Project, 18 km south of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, including 73.86 g/t Au over 1.00 m and 36.43 g/t Au over 1.45 m at Mirado West, plus further mineralised intersections at Mirado North and South. Following a $20 million financing completed on October 8, 2026, the company has begun a drill program of at least 25,000 m to test extensions at Mirado and selected regional gold targets. Its preliminary interpreted footprint at Mirado spans about 1,300 by 930 m horizontally, compared with roughly 740 by 380 m historically, though these are exploration models rather than mineral resource estimates. Assay results for 23 further drill holes are pending.
- White Gold Expands the High-Grade Core at Golden Saddle Deposit Intersecting 5.13 g/t Gold over 7.9m within 1.47g/t Gold over 38.1m and Significantly Extends the VG Deposit High-Grade Mineralization by 90m to 320m Down-Plunge Across 150m of Strike Length Intersecting 2.53g/t Gold over 18.9m
White Gold Corp. (TSXV: WGO) reported initial assays from the first diamond drill holes of its fully funded 2026 exploration program at the White Gold Project in Yukon, Canada, its largest drilling program ever on its flagship deposits. Hole WHTGS26D0219 intersected 1.47 g/t Au over 38.08m, including 5.13 g/t Au over 7.88m, extending the Golden Saddle high-grade core about 50m west at a 300m vertical depth. At VG, holes QV26-026 and QV26-024 extended mineralization down-plunge to 320m across roughly 150m of strike, and bridged a 120m gap to historical hole QV13-011, establishing continuity to about 350m. Assays from 49 more holes are pending. The company's preliminary economic assessment previously reported a C$1.86 billion after-tax NPV, 41% IRR and 1.5-year payback.
