- Fortuna intersects 0.96 g/t gold over 350 meters at the Lindero Mine, Argentina | Company Announcement
Fortuna Mining (NYSE: FSM | TSX: FVI) reports infill drilling at its Lindero Mine in Argentina, designed to test open gold mineralization at depth and upgrade Inferred Mineral Resources below the current life-of-mine pit design. The results confirm gold mineralization extends significantly below the reserve pit. The 2026 program comprised 31 diamond drill holes totalling 8,534 meters, extended from a planned 6,000 meters after early success. Hole LDH-272 intersected 0.96 g/t Au over 350 meters from surface, including 98 meters averaging 0.91 g/t Au below the pit design, while LDH-259 returned 0.85 g/t Au over 236 meters. An updated block model, pit design, and Mineral Resource and Reserve estimate are targeted for year-end 2026, with release planned in the first quarter of 2027, and the zone remains open at depth.
