Fortuna Mining (NYSE: FSM | TSX: FVI) reports infill drilling results at its Lindero Mine in Argentina, aimed at testing mineralization that remains open at depth and upgrading Inferred Mineral Resources below the current life-of-mine pit design. The 2026 program comprised 31 diamond drill holes totalling 8,534 meters, extended from a planned 6,000 meters after early holes succeeded. Hole LDH-272 intersected 0.96 g/t Au over 350 meters from surface, including 98 meters averaging 0.91 g/t below the pit design, while LDH-259 returned 0.85 g/t Au over 236 meters, including 94 meters averaging 0.66 g/t below the pit. The company is updating its block model and pit design by year-end, with an updated Mineral Resource and Reserve estimate planned for release in the first quarter of 2027. Management said the zone remains open at depth.
