- Molson Coors united kingdom sales fall as pub spending drops
Molson Coors' turnover fell 4.2% to £1.56bn in the year ended 31 December 2025, and gross profit dropped 7.8% to £283.5m, according to its accounts filed with Companies House. The company named the shift from on-trade to off-trade sales as a principal risk, since retail sales typically carry lower margins. Gross profit fell mainly on lower volumes amid tough market conditions and cost pressures, while pre-tax profit was broadly flat at £40.17m and profit for the financial year rose 128% to £19.7m. It also flagged inflation, cost-of-living pressures and possible changes to tax rules, including excise duty, as risks to its results. In March 2026 it announced a restructuring that includes the proposed closure of Sharp's Brewery in Cornwall.
