Procore (NYSE: PCOR) is working with NVIDIA to bring advanced digital twin capabilities to complex construction projects, currently in closed beta. Users can move between Procore's Model Manager and Realism Mode, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, to visualize projects in a highly realistic 3D environment and test how conditions such as extreme weather could affect construction before work begins. The company says identifying problems earlier can prevent costly rework, delays and schedule disruption, as nearly $7 trillion is projected to be invested in data center infrastructure by 2030. Procore's acquisition of DroneDeploy adds aerial and ground imagery to project data, and Switch, a joint customer of Procore and NVIDIA, says 3D visualization gives its teams clearer insight into progress and helps them decide earlier.
