Schneider Electric, NVIDIA and HPE have announced a strategic collaboration to accelerate Physical AI across process and heavy industries. Their first offering, Industrial AI Agents at the Edge, runs on HPE Private Cloud AI and lets autonomous AI agents monitor, reason about and optimize industrial operations in real time directly within the plant. The solution targets three barriers to scaling industrial AI: data sovereignty, cybersecurity and AI consumption costs, by processing data close to its source. The first agents focus on operational technology monitoring, cybersecurity and energy optimization, and build on CMPC Chile's three years of production use of Schneider's OTMS.
