General Secretary and President Tô Lâm addressed the Việt Nam–Denmark Business Forum in Copenhagen during his state visit to Denmark, attended by King Frederik X and businesses from both countries. He urged Danish firms to expand investment in Việt Nam, bringing advanced technology, innovation and green solutions, and to move from 'investing in' to 'investing alongside' local enterprises. King Frederik X noted Denmark is among Europe's largest investors in Việt Nam and pointed to potential in energy efficiency, logistics, food, biotechnology and healthcare. Tô Lâm said Việt Nam aims for double-digit growth in 2026–30 and listed priority sectors such as renewable energy, green shipping, pharmaceuticals and the circular economy, while describing the relationship as more than half a century old.
