- Mexican Peso Falls 1 . 3 % to October Low
The Mexican peso fell about 1.3% against the US dollar on 21 October 2026 to close near 18.67 per dollar, from 18.43 the previous day, its weakest daily close of October. The daily high reached about 18.73. The peso has lost roughly 3% since 30 September, when it stood near 18.07. INEGI is due to publish Mexico's first-half October inflation data on 22 October.
