- The Best Blue Chip Stock to Buy in November and Hold for 10 Years
Costco's stock has risen more than 600% over the past ten years, and with reinvested dividends its total return reached 728%, versus 326% for the S&P 500. The author argues Costco remains a blue-chip stock worth holding for another ten years, citing cardholders up 3.6% to 150.4 million at the end of fiscal 2026, a worldwide renewal rate up 10 basis points to 89.8% in Q4, and warehouses rising to 939 from 914. Comparable store sales rose 8.4%, its 17th consecutive year of positive comps growth. Analysts expect revenue and EPS to grow at 8% and 10% CAGRs from fiscal 2026 to 2029. Although the stock trades at 46 times this year's earnings, the author says its scale, customer stickiness and inflation resistance justify that valuation.

Over the last 5 reported days, ETFs were net buyers on 2 and net sellers on 3.
