MB will host the MB SME CEO MEET 2026 – The Champs Meet The Champs in Hanoi on 27/10/2026, featuring Hayden Patriquin and leading international pickleball players alongside about 500 guests, including 150 representative SME CEO clients. The event includes Pro-Am matches, meet & greets, CEO Networking and Business Matching to expand business relationships and cooperation opportunities. From 21/10/2026, MB applies a loan interest rate reduction of 1.5–2% per year for new disbursements in five priority industry groups, subject to program conditions. Eligible clients at the event can access the SME Premier package worth up to 220 million VND, while MB aims to connect its more than 400,000 SME customers within its ecosystem.

MB stated that it did not register household businesses for customers on its own, after many users reported that personal accounts appeared as household business accounts with shop information on the MBBank app. The bank said the shop feature and VietQR payment codes are designed to help customers receive payments and track transactions, and that displaying them does not mean a customer has registered a household business or opened a household business account at MB. MB stressed that showing shop information or VietQR codes is not a basis for determining tax obligations, which are set by tax law and actual business activity. For customers with questions, the bank will review and clarify each registration and service use case, and customers can contact official support channels or MB transaction offices.

On 29 October 2026, MB's Board of Directors approved setting up MB Global One member limited liability Bank, 100% owned by MB and operating at the Vietnam International Financial Centre (VIFC), with charter capital of 3,000 billion VND. The move is the next step after MB registered as a founding member when the VIFC HCMC centre launched on 11 February 2026, alongside TPBank, SHB, Nam A Bank and HDBank. In July, MBV, a member of the MB ecosystem, opened its business headquarters at VIFC-HCMC, becoming the first bank present at the centre. MB also committed to work with the VIFC-HCMC management agency to mobilise about 2 billion USD for projects.
