Super Micro Computer expects first-quarter revenue of $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion, well above analysts' average estimate of $15.23 billion and its prior forecast of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, as demand for AI data center servers surges. It now expects gross margins of 12% to 12.5%, up from 10.4% to 10.8%, mainly due to customer and product mix. Shares rose 11.3% in after-hours trading, while Dell and HPE gained 3.5% to 4.9% and Nvidia rose 1.5%. Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Meta are expected to spend more than $700 billion on AI infrastructure this year.
