Silgan Holdings and private equity firm American Industrial Partners agreed to buy Trivium Packaging for $3.4 billion (€3.03 billion) to expand Silgan's footprint in Europe. About USD 3 billion has been frozen, up from USD 2.54 billion, mainly thanks to Tether (over 1.567 billion USDT), Circle (over 800 million USDC) and Ripple (about 200 million USD).
