Morgan Charitable Giving Fund have created a new pathway letting donor-advised funds (DAFs) support qualified contributions to Trump Accounts, tax-advantaged investment accounts for children, after working with the Treasury Department. The Treasury and IRS have determined that general funding contributions to Trump Accounts, including DAF distributions, further a charitable purpose. NPT says the framework could serve as a model for donors in every state.
